Calvin grew up to be an insufferable stoner, didn't he?

Gamecat chillin' with his neighborhood best friend.

Calvin never grew up (this is my reality, you can't tell me what to think / believe).

By the Peanuts Corollary, you are correct.
Not to be confused with the For Better or for Worse Axiom, which says you can just restart time.

I need to pull out my old Calvin and Hobbes books. Love 'em.

Used to have this set as my desktop background for a year or so. If I remember right it had a realistic sky (one of those insanely cool space shots from some remote location) and obviously wasn't animated.
Great pic, great comic.

Like this one?
I used to have one as my desktop for quite a while as well. =)

It's nice to know someone else gets it.
This can be an interesting place, but these days, more often than not, I'm more content to sit and watch the lights spin than participate myself.
I don't know about you, but I'm just not sure there's a whole lot left for me here anymore. I think I'll just fade into the background, moderate when necessary, and otherwise let the wheel spin however it will.

Some claim Frazz is meant to be cartoonist Jef Mallet's vision of the adult Calvin (in part due to the face and hair), made plausible by the fact that Frazz's first name is never used in the strip (Frazz is short for Mr Frazier), and Jef has neither confirmed nor denied the theory. I've actually found that reading the strip with the view of him as Calvin grown up makes it more entertaining. Frazz shows elements of Calvin's old self (he still likes mischief, though it's more refined and less harmful, he also sometimes encourages/assists Caulfield's antics), as well as elements of Calvin's father (he partakes in cycling and other "character building" activities, and I swear some of the frames of Frazz on his bike look like direct artistic references to some of the frames of Calvin's dad on his).

Given the other nods to odd literary references (Caulfield) I could see it. Still. No. Calvin will always be approximately one half tiger tall and aged appropriately for his size.

Yes, very similar to that one. I also had a few select Calvin & Hobbes "snowman" scenes as desktop backgrounds.

That's fine by me as well
